Simple and robust element-free Galerkin method with almost interpolating shape functions for finite deformation elasticity

چکیده
In this paper, we present a meshless method belonging to the family of element-free Galerkin (EFG) methods. The presented allows accurate enforcement essential boundary conditions. uses total Lagrangian formulation with explicit time integration facilitate code simplicity and robust computations in applications that involve large deformations non-linear materials. We use regularized weight function, which closely approximates Kronecker delta, generate interpolating shape functions. imposition prescribed displacements on becomes as straightforward finite element (FEM). effectiveness accuracy proposed is demonstrated using 3D numerical examples include cylinder indentation by 70% its initial height, brain.
